FBI Agent Blasts The Seductive Spy CBS’ 60 Minutes Calls ‘A Patriot’

Not even the popular American TV show, CBS’ News 60 Minutes, aired Sunday evenings, has escaped the siren call of surrender to Leftist and Jihadist thinking. There was a time when 60 Minutes was seen as providing fair and balanced, independent journalism. But no more.
Lebanese born Nada Nadim Prouty was convicted of immigration fraud for getting into a fake marriage to get a leg up on American citizenship. That one act involved multiple lies told on many occasions and was used as the foundation for her entrance into the FBI and the CIA. She is also accused of being an FBI/CIA infiltrator and of spying on the U.S. for Hezbollah. On March 28, 2010, Prouty was interviewed as a heroine by Scott Pelley on 60 Minutes.

As you will see, Prouty got pouty on air, shed a few tears, and proclaimed her innocence, citing lie detector tests that she “passed.” Prouty is accused of using her access as an FBI agent to look up information about herself and her relatives, some of whom have ties to Hezbollah. She also is accused of improperly taking classified information home with her and of passing information to sympathizers of Hezbollah.
Her family life is funky with Hezbollah activity. The U.S. government calls her brother-in-law, Talal Chahine, a Hizballah supporter, along with Prouty’s sister, Elfat El Aouar. They were convicted of tax evasion to the tune of 16 million dollars, which was sent in part to Lebanon. In 2005, Chahine fled to Lebanon to escape being arrested under tax evasion charges.
According to blogger Debbie Sclussel, who says she has been following this case for years, and has dug up considerable research on Prouty and her family, Prouty owed Chahine a big favor. Chahine arranged her sham marriage to one of his kitchen helpers. In return, she spied for him. Prouty used the status she had built up with the FBI and CIA to search their data bases, letting Chahine know about the government’s investigation into his activities financing Hezbollah. It is believed that Chahine got his money from drug selling, in addition to his legitimate restaurant business, which may have been used to launder the drug money. Chahine’s son, Khalil, was arrested two times on drug charges, and is serving prison time now for murdering a Christian Arab who offended him by planning to marry a Muslim woman, who had once been his girlfriend.
In the CBS interview with Scott Pelley, Prouty’sinvestigative work on the bombings of the Khobar Towers and the ramming of the U.S.S. Cole is seen as proof of her heroic citizenship. But not necessarily so. Those attacks were done by al Qaida, which is Sunni. Prouty and other family members were part of the Syrian National Socialist Party in Lebanon, a pan-Syria outfit, linked to both Hezbollah and Shiite Iran. As many readers know, Shiites and Sunnis often try to destroy each other. If Prouty were working for a Shiite group, then she would have been using her American identity as a CIA officer to camouflage her Shiite interests, as well as a way to increase her credibility for a higher level of infiltration within the C.I.A, which would then facilitate spying against American interests.
Prouty pleads on 60 Minutes that she agreed to the CIA’s charges against her because she could not afford a lawyer. But surely that claim is bogus. First of all, the court would have appointed a lawyer for her who would represent her for free if she were in need. However, how poor could she have been with a sister and brother-in-law, with whom she was in cahoots, who raked in over 16 million dollars? Something else that doesn’t add up is that she claims not to have known that her brother-in-law had close ties to Hezbollah and most likely sent it money. But she worked with the CIA and even searched its Hezbollah files! How could she not know?
I asked an FBI agent of my acquaintance what he thought of the 60 Minutes show. “Jim,” as he likes to be called for this purpose, has been an FBI agent for over 40 years, and is a former Marine.
Here is what FBI Jim says about 60 Minutes’ portrayal of Nada Prouty.
“60 Minutes is a reflection of the MSM’s leftward slant. Ideological interpretation trumps facts for ideologues. The FBI was grossly negligent in hiring her in the first place. Then the CIA compounded the gross negligence when they did a sloppy background investigation and hired her. The fraudulent marriage should have been discovered and that should have been the end of the story.
As far as the CIA “internal investigation” of her conduct goes, it proved nothing. Polygraphs are not evidence. They are scientifically unreliable and inadmissable as evidence in court because they are unreliable, so when Bob Grenier, the CIA person interviewed, casually mentions that she passed the polygraph, he is being intentionally disingenuous.
It seems to me that she used, with great success, her feminine charms on investigators of the FBI, CIA and 60 Minutes. (However, her attempts to tear up at appropriate points in the 60 Minute act were mostly unsuccessful.) Such a clever, physically attractive, ME, woman should have been interviewed by experienced heterosexual female investigators. Heterosexual men’s judgments on employment should not have been relied upon in any case with such a candidate for the FBI/CIA. The 60 minutes guy looked like he was star struck to me.
I do not believe that she participated in raids in Iraq. At best she came in well after an area was secured. No military officer in his/her right mind would allow a pregnant woman to participate in a dangerous op like a raid. Her alleged exposure to danger was hyped.
My other reaction is that the Left will do anything to continue the narrative of how bad the Bush administration was. It diverts attention from critical analysis of the performance of their guy.
The MSM is simply not to be trusted. Sad when a tabloid newspaper has more credibility than what purports to be a legitimate investigative news source.”
The staff of 60 Minutes and interviewer Scott Pelley granted an undeserved innocence and respect to a very suspicious person and they called her a patriot. If they were fair and balanced they would have also presented a point of view critical of Prouty. What is especially dangerous to our national security is that the CBS show cast aspersions on anyone who sees her differently, creating an unfriendly atmosphere for critical thinking about who is really good for America and who is not. Unless this kind of gross distortion is pointed out and stopped, the door will be thrown wide open to our enemies, and anyone who tries to shut the door will be defamed as a bad person. If a Fifth Column press makes it impossible to even speak up about national security threats, we are in very deep trouble.

One of their “cheer-leaders” said that Islam (with a real long aaaa sound…as in “at”….) “Islaaaam cares about everyone: all races, all people, even the JEWS (yeah, right).
Another speaker encouraged all those illegals in the crowd to “Get out and VOTE. It’s important he said, that they register so they can vote out-of-office all those nasty politicians who support Israel.”
The Neteuri Karta proclaimed their solidarity with all the Fakestinians and also mentioned Harlem. Harlem has been referred to at the Muzzie Day Parades as the MECCA of New York City, so I guess…yeah…I get the connection…(not)
Other Muslim speakers reminded the crowd that as proud AMERICANS they must admonish their government for it’s pro-Israeli policies .
Had lots of kids on 7th Avenue (both sides as usual) handing out this propaganda…
Always unfortunate when there isn’t a pro-Israel contingent handing out flyers to the same people passing by to counter these lies.
It was encouraging, however, to see most of the tourists just staring briefly or not caring at all; just walking on by.They didn’t seem very interested. And as for the any press, there didn’t seem to be any but their own photographers. ( I can always count on them to play right to my camera…)
The police were possibly unaware that the Fakestinians planned a walk (they ALWAYS do, so why be surprised) but, there was an awful lot of discussion with the officers before they were permitted to walk .
The officers were shaking their heads, and gesturing down 7th, most likely telling the Fakestinians they couldn’t use 42nd (towards the the Israeli Consulate)

“The Lesson of Phidippides”
Greetings Wheels on the Road (WOTR) readers, fellow South Floridians, and all Americans, time for another monthly political assessment. It is 11pm Sunday night, the first weekend of March Madness and my two teams, University of Tennessee and Kansas State University, survived and shall move onto the coveted “Sweet 16”. It is also the evening when our US House of Representatives stand ready to make a decision with immense ramifications for our Republic, the healthcare reform vote….another form of March Madness.
For whatever reason, I began the think about endurance. I pondered enduring the grueling 40 minutes of an NCAA tournament basketball game and how fantastic it must be for the University of Northern Iowa in beating #1 Kansas. I also considered how our America will endure what will certainly be a fateful decision soon to be made in the late hours of night.
As a former Army Commander, we always told our Soldiers that nothing good ever happens after 2300 hours (11pm for you civilians).
The theme of endurance led me to recall one of my favorite maxims, “the race is not given to the swiftest, but to he that endures to the end”. Therefore I remembered the Man for whom the Olympic distance race was named, the Greek Soldier Phidippides.
If I may set the stage, in 490 BC the great Persian Empire sought to expand their territory and move into Europe, under King Darius I. They landed a huge army in Greece, city-states who created the first ideals of democracy, just outside of Athens on the open plains of Marathon.
Athens was incredibly outnumbered and sought the assistance of the warrior city-state, Sparta. Sparta was some 140 miles away and the Athenian Generals chose a professional runner, Phidippides for the task. History records that he covered the 140 mile distance in 36 hours only to be told that the Spartans would not immediately support Athens due to a religious observance. Phidippides then ran back to deliver the horrifying news and afterwards, joined the Athenian Army to prepare for battle.
Outnumbered some 4 to 1, the Athenians launched a brilliant surprise attack and slew some 7000 Persians to minimal losses for their force. The Persians withdrew to the sea and embarked south to conduct a direct attack on Athens. The Generals again called upon Phidippides to run the 26 mile distance from Marathon to Athens informing them of the victory and the impending threat.
Phidippides rose to the challenge, after the trek to Sparta and back, and having fought in full hoplite heavy armor. Going past the normal limits of human endurance, he reached Athens, delivered the message, and died shortly thereafter from fatigue.
In America we are now in an ideological race for the soul of our Republic. We oft time believe we are heavily outnumbered and it seems as though there is no support.
The healthcare legislation which will certainly pass violates the foundational principles of our Constitutional Republic in every way. The voices of the American people are being cast aside for special interests such as unions and other deals for respective members of the House and Senate.
We know that our honored Senior citizens will be severely affected by the cuts to Medicare, regardless of what the liberal progressive spin may be. And in my State of Florida where there is a large retirement community, what shall happen when we see a growing loss of medical professionals?
We will see an incredible increase in taxes immediately while none of the “so called needed reform programs” begin until the years of 2013 and beyond. We will see a huge increase in the federal bureaucracy, especially the IRS which will now be empowered to penalize Americans not succumbing to unconstitutional mandates.
And how can anyone explain, or comprehend, an American government ordering its citizens to purchase health insurance? And this is supposed to punish those evil insurance companies?
And even in this legislation there was a proposal to make the federal government the sole source for college education loans, totally unrelated.
At a time when our economy is suffering and Americans are out of work, our Representatives will burden its producing citizens with more heinous taxation. Yes, we need healthcare reform but it must be done within the American principles which respect and cherish liberty and free market solutions.
Just as the Persians sought to conquer Greece and enslave their human will which was rooted in liberty and freedom, so we have entered into this ideological battle, race, in America. And in this race we, American citizens, must have the endurance of Phidippides to answer the call and stand.
Regardless of what seems to be an adversary that is all powerful and outnumbering us, we have to be bold. However we must be competent in taking actions which allow us to regain and retain the initiative. It is a long march to the 2d of November but we must not grow weary as future generations of Americans are depending on us…just the same as in Greece.
The ideological race in which we are embroiled, if lost, will relegate America to nothing more than an advanced debtor Nation. We will become a Nation whose foreign policy will be dictated because we will have lost any moral high ground. We will find ourselves more vulnerable to external and internal security threats because the liberal progressives seek a domestic agenda which makes us weaker.
I am reminded of a great quote, “We are either a unified people, or we are not. If the former, let us in all matters of general concern act as a Nation which has national objects to promote, and a National character to support. If we are not let us no longer act the farce by pretending to it”- George Washington, November 30, 1785.
My challenge to each of you is simple, run the race of endurance for America and its principles, not faltering. Let us lay aside every weight and burden which so easily ensnare each of us and run with endurance the ideological race that is set before us. We can remember the lesson of Phidippides but not finish in exhaustion but as those who run the modern day Marathon and win, receiving the wreath of Victory upon our heads.
In the end Greece defeated the Persian invasion not once but twice enabling the democratic ideals and principles they had borne to spread into Europe…and eventually to a fledgling Country called America.
In closing, remember the words of Thomas Paine in December 1776 after a series of early defeats for the Continental Army, “These are the times which try men’s souls. The summer Soldier and the sunshine Patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of his Country; but he that stands now deserves the love and thanks of men and women”.
Join me and run this race, stand on the battlefield for America ensuring its future and legacy.

On March 20, 2010, the Tea Party “Kill The Bill” Rally came to Washington. Statistics range from 10,000 to 30,000. Whatever the final count it was a fabulous turnout (arranged in approximately 24 hours) A Code Red Alert was called and the citizens rallied.
We covered not only the Tea Party in front of the Capitol but the continuation that traveled to the front of the Rayburn building. This whole action was packed with citizens who were strong, motivated, passionate and possibly a tad edgier than previous gatherings. It’s difficult to keep a smile-on-your-face when the Demon-crats are sticking it to America.
Our message is loud and clear, Kill the Bill. And now that this socialist debacle is passed, come November of 2010 we will be even more determined to Take Back America!
We started the morning with the Gathering of Eagles at the Viet Nam War Memorial.
And then there were the anti- War Leftists. These Lefties offended as usual by showing appalling disrespect at the Washington Monument. Here we also found what was rumored to Cindy Sheehan’s “Camp” No War.
These were the Anti-War Leftists who had planned a march on the Capitol but it was nixed by the DC police because of the Tea Party Rally. Since their event had been announced first, that’s a BIG one for US! However, the offensive fake cemetery that they built on the grounds of the Washington Monument and then named called Arlington Mid West was a nauseating display of Lefty arrogance and insensitivity to our men and women who have served and died for our country.

Nearby, a small but loyal group of patriots from the Gathering of Eagles placed themselves at the Viet Nam War Memorial to protect it from these above mentioned Anti- War Leftists.
We understand that the outreach to those passing by was productive and may have even turned a few heads away from the anti-America propaganda that’s been forced on recent generations. And, of course, there were a couple of groups of potential Lefty “mischief” makers who turned-tail and ‘ran’ because the Eagles were on-watch. Bravo!

Now on to the Capitol. We arrived about an hour in to the rally….the crowd was huge and still growing. It will always be under-estimated by the MSM but pictures and video will reveal (again) that the turn-out was certainly more than the couple of thousand the MSM they claimed (that’s if ‘they’ even bothered to report on the Tea Party Rally).
The pictures and video show lots of great signs, high spirits and loads of determination that will carry us all forward in to the voting booths of 2010.

Next, near the end of the main rally, before heading over to the Rayburn building, what to my ‘wondering’ eyes should appear, but a miniature …no wait…it was Suzie Benjamin. The Code Pinko Commie who admires Chavez, Ah’jad and even had TEA with Castro.
There is NO tyrant she doesn’t admire (why else change your name from Suzie to Medea …the mother of all child killers). Chanting “Medicare for all” she and her associates strolled across the grassy lawn of the Capitol. (VIDEO is posted below))
Some noticed who she was right away. Others were confused and still others were a part of her favorite sport:rehearsed street-theatre “confrontation”. AND then there was the attack of the Red Menace. She’s NOT one of ‘ours’ that’s for sure and after she assaulted me…attacked me with a very hard metal yellow bell.
This attack was unprovoked. She simply spun on herself while I was filming and swung at me., full bore, aiming for my head. Wouldn’t you think by then some police would have made an appearance. Red” was after blood. It was in her eyes. She came after me two more times have her initial attack . Why the police permitted this Code Pinko display and the attack of the Red Menace to continue is odd…very odd. The first police we found (and there weren’t even that many) was in front of the Rayburn building. Which is the final lap of this report…

At the the Rayburn Building, a robust crowd of mad-as-hell patriots were on both side of the street but the police seemed to be holding the crowd back ...not letting any more cross to the Rayburn side.
We did catch (on video) a rush of citizenry at one point as they pushed through the Rayburn side (to the frustration of the police). video may still be processing…
BTW- contrary to lies being rumored by the Left, what was chanted by this crowd had nothing to do with racist slurs. The chant of the day was Kill the Bill…over and over and over.

Golam Minhaz, an inspector with Detective Branch of Bangladesh Police at Rangpur district [northern part of the country] detained 19 women in various areas in the city for ‘not wearing veils’.
It may be mentioned here that, according to Bangladeshi law, women are not required to wear veils, which is compulsory in a number of Islamist countries.
Iran has imposed law for compulsory wearing of veils by women since 1979.
But, in Bangladesh this is for the first time that any member of law enforcing agencies were showing ‘extra vigilance’ in forcing women in wearing veils.
Subsequently, on hearing the news of such attitude of the police officer, a number of lawyers including K M Hafijul Alam, Mahbub Shafique and Imranul Hye filed a writ petition with Bangladesh Supreme court in a bench comprising Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain and ATM Fazle Kabir seeking legal actions.
The High Court bench has ordered the Bangladesh government and members of law enforcing agencies not to arrest any women or girl for not wearing veils. The court asked several government officials including the home secretary, Inspector General of Police and Inspector Golam Minhaz of Detective Branch to explain why the case should be investigated and legal actions taken against those involved in the detention of the women. The court also asked Inspector Minhaz to be present at the court on April 4, 2010.
Following this court order, it is alleged that, members of Detective Branch in Rangpur district are coming with a new story of arresting those women on charge of prostitution. On condition of anonymity, a source within Detective Branch told Weekly Blitz that, most of the senior officers in Bangladesh Police are sympathetic to Inspector Golam Minhaz for his role in ‘upholding Islamic culture’ within the society. Those senior officials have given secret directives to the Detective Branch in Rangpur to twist the case from allegation of not wearing veils to participating in ‘illicit activities’ by those held women.
Law enforcing agencies and a section of judicial system in Bangladesh were reported to be supportive towards imposing Sharia law in the country. Such systems are considering any activities such as highlighting Jewish culture and heritage even as blasphemous. Iranian Cultural Center and embassy in Dhaka are often hiring the auditorium of Bangladesh Supreme Court in organizing programs on so-called Al-Quds Day as well various activities against United States, West and Israel.
