Breaking The Silence: NYC Rally Denounces Policy Makers Who Set Israel Up For Destruction

In a demonstration against the increasing hostility shown towards Israel by the Obama camp and its camp followers, more than 2,000 people – Jews, Gentiles, Hindus and freedom lovers of all types – braved a chilly rain to affirm Israel’s right to exist as a sovereign Jewish State  on April 25, 2010.

As readers  may know, President Obama has publically insulted Israel’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu while showing obsequious deference to Muslims and Arabs. Obama has implied that Israel’s very existence has caused the loss of American “blood and treasure” in Afghanistan.  He has pressured Netanyahu to view Jerusalem, where Jews have dwelled for over 3,500 years, as a mere ‘settlement’ that must restrict its growth so as to accommodate Arabs. And Obama has dithered about Iran’s build up of nuclear strength, even letting one of his top staff members state that America may shoot Israeli jets out of the sky if they attempt to bomb Iran’s nukes.

While right wing Jews have criticized Obama publically for policies that endanger Israel’s continued existence, they have mostly kept silent about the left wing Jews who accept Obama’s policies.

Today, April 25, 2010,  they broke the silence, speaking out against J Street, Jewish congress people, Hollywood Jews, and rabbis who are silent in the face of increasing threats to the very existence of Israel and Jews worldwide. The speakers included Beth Gilinsky, who organized the rally, Joan Peters (author of From Time Immemorial), Rabbi Joseph Potasnik (co-host of Religion On the Line), Joy Brighton speaking on the Sharia Finance of Terrorism, and many others.

One of the themes of the rally was the obvious betrayal of Jews in the past by their own leadership. Preceding the mass extermination of European Jews during WWII, Jewish leaders told their congregations not to make waves and silenced them with false assurances that “something was being worked out behind the scenes.”  What “worked out” were mass deaths in concentration camps.  Via their leaders, before the deportations, Jews accepted being told where to live in the ghettos of Europe.

None of that today.  Jews and their supporters expressed determination to cast off the idea that Obama could ever be the landlord of Israel. Another theme was that the Arab dispute with Israel was not about land, and giving up more land for peace would just result in less land and less peace. Israel is up against an implacable enemy that is 14 centuries old – the same radical Islam that threatens the whole world with domination and tyranny. Speaker James Lafferty (Founder of  the Virginia Anti-Shariah Task Force) declared Benjamin Netanyahu the leader of the Free World now that Obama has vacated that post and suggested only somewhat facetiously that Netanyahu should run for the Presidency in the US since citizenship is not required anymore.

Reality is breaking through politically imposed barriers to truth. Senior New York  Senator Chuck Schumer on a recent radio show sharply criticized the Obama administration’s “counter-productive” policies on Israel and threatened to “publically blast” the White House if it did not retract certain statements.  Former Mayor Ed Koch expressed his solidarity with today’s rally.  Although he could not be there, he taped a video with Beth Gilinsky in which he declared that he thought Obama’s changes in established US policy hurt Israel and that he found Obama’s rude treatment of Netanyahu “obnoxious.”  Koch suggested a massive march on Washington D.C. similar to Martin Luther King Jr.’s demonstrations to protest Obama’s rejection of a democratic country in favor of countries run by tyrants.

Stay tuned, Mr. Mayor, and freedom lovers throughout the world.  Activists are planning such marches even as I type this.

BREAK THE SILENCE RALLY – SUNDAY!! was held in front of the Israeli Consulate on Sunday, April 25, 2010. The treatment of Israel during the last several weeks by President Obama, Hillary Clinton, and spokesmen for the Administration has been an unprecedented attempt to humiliate the Jewish State and a willful isolation of it among the community of nations.The People of Israel are demoralized and feel abandoned  by the lack of any strong and meaningful statement and vigorous, public demonstrations sponsored by any of the major and established Jewish organizations in support of Israel’s position regarding Jerusalem. This Rally is meant to show there is STRONG Support for Israel in America. Shame Shame on Obama and his Administration for abandoning Israel. (more info will be added to post shortly)

Patriots counter Leftists at US Immigration and Customs Office in NYC (4-23-10)

April 23, 2010. The anarchists called it an EMERGENCY PROTEST AGAINST FASCIST ARIZONA IMMIGRATION LAW. Every anti-American Leftist seemed to be marching round and round in front of the Immigration Building; demanding that there be NO penalty for breaking our immigration laws.

Of course, if you look closely you’ll see many familiar faces…Put a call out for any anti-American rally and they come running! These rallies are their Mother’s Milk. They get up every day with one thought: only….  to CHANGE America (permanently)  in to another Cuba or Venezuela. They never rest; NEITHER SHOULD WE.

The counter-protestors (Patriots-all) were there to explain that there are very clear NON- racist reasons for the Arizona Law.

Meanwhile: Come to this country LEGALLY.

Arizona is  an important  step towards enforcing America’s immigration laws. The counter rally was small but mighty and it annoyed the lefties (a lot) BTW- the Federal cops were MARVELOUS!

“The People” just might question and doubt the Great Future that the  Big Zero has in store…

Arrived late….had a conflict…but not sure there was much to see other than the media and a few lonely, but happy(?) protestors. (Remember, Zero had the location in lock-down)

Greetings Wheels on the Road (WOTR) readers, fellow South Floridians, and all Americans, time for another monthly political assessment. There are so many thoughts running through my brain but they all come back to the events of Thursday, 15 April 2010….Tax Day.

On that day I had the distinct honor and pleasure to address two TEA Party groups; Ft Lauderdale and West Palm Beach. It was a fantastic gathering of everyday Americans with their families.

However, we get the topic of this month’s installment from our dear President. It was President Obama who after the tax day rallies admonished the participants that they should just say, “Thank You”. That is correct; his highness believes that you loyal subjects should be thankful for all the new taxes and growth of government imposed in his first year.

So what exactly is the T.E.A. Party movement, first of all it stands for Taxed Enough Already, and associates itself with the original Boston Tea Party. The first tea party lamented the issue of “taxation without representation”. The current tea party addresses “taxation with misrepresentation”, as evidenced by the Obamacare legislative process involving more broken arms than at a rugby match.

The tea party today is made of all walks of life and it is just amazing how so many are seeking to define it and harness it into something which they can understand. It is a movement of American conscience, not a political party. It is a movement that is based upon principle of governance and philosophy, not partisan politics. When you are at a tea party event you feel a sense of that which started America on this road some 233 years ago; human will and yearning for Liberty.

Regardless of the insidious claims, this movement stretches across race, gender, age, and ethnicity. If you recognize that which makes America unique, and yes President Obama, exceptional, you understand the tea party movement.

But why is it that the tea party has drawn so much attention, negative mostly, from media sources and political operatives? One word, it is fear.

Today is the 15^th anniversary of a tragic and terrible day in America, the Oklahoma City bombing. What should be a day of remembrance and mourning was used by another Democrat President, Bill Clinton, to launch a despicable attack against the tea party movement. Clinton made the comparison of what resulted in the deaths of 168 Americans to Americans seeking to “redress their grievances to government”, highly disgusting and dishonorable.

In accordance with such we have Time magazine writer Joe Klein accusing Sarah Palin and others of sedition, a felony crime.

What we are witnessing is the imagined fear of the liberal progressives in America. They are attempting to create a sense of intimidation and violence where no such thing exists. The constant stoking and probing for the smoking gun that will solidify their claim comes up empty time and time again.

The real fear of the liberal progressives is that the silent majority is no longer silent and is rejecting their collectivist, big government agenda centered on nationalizing production and expansion of the entitlement class. Americans are rejecting the notion of the nanny-state where we find 47% of Americans are not paying taxes. We are rejecting the liberal progressive objective of having a majority of Americans wedded to government either by subsistence checks or by employment.

The real fear is that since 2006 the Democrat party has laid ruin to our fundamental principles upon which America was built, namely our Constitution. They realize that there is a true danger for them in the mid-term elections of 2010, that means you too Ron Klein! And that is not intimidation, just means we will defeat you in the Congressional race for Florida district 22.

If one really wants a lesson in political intimidation you need only look to the history of the Democrat party. It is the party which created the Ku Klux Klan as its terrorist arm. It is the party of segregation, Jim Crow laws, poll taxes, and lynching, among other forms of violence. It is the party that reversed much of the Reconstruction era civil rights legislation and would have blocked the Civil Rights Act of the early 1960’s, save not for Republican Senator Everett Dirksen.

Today the Democrat party maintains its intimidation mantra through the thugs of ACORN, SEIU, New Black Panther Party, Code Pink, and anarchist groups. See if any political party recognizes violence and intimidation in America, it is the Democrat party.

Now with the media in tow, they have expanded their means by which to attack simple Americans yearning for their freedom and liberty. Let us never forget the heinous treatment of former President George W Bush and the last American President to be shot……a Republican, Ronald Reagan.

It is beyond contempt and belief that the party who promoted slavery and segregation is now attempting to call anyone racist. I find it absolutely humorous when the left attacks me as a; radical, racist, uncle tom, oreo, sellout, and token. The actions of the left media who interviewed a black Gentleman at a tea party trying to coach him into condemning the tea party as racist is reprehensible, but indicative of the MSM.

The real racists in America are liberal progressives. Their dishonest tyranny which promotes failing social welfare policies centers on enslavement, not empowerment. They have created a new 21^st century plantation and utilize such people as Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, and the Congressional black caucus as their plantation overseer’s.

The duplicitous hypocrisy of a Senator Harry Reid making statements about “light-skinned” and “non-negro dialect” as being acceptable to him is the essence of racism. How funny, that the mindless lemming lap dogs who refer to themselves as black leaders gave him a pass. Therefore, I am proud to stand with my American Brothers and Sisters, and their children, at TEA Party events and rallies. I would rather stand with them than live in shame and submission to the party of slavery, secession, segregation, and now socialism.

It is amazing to me that President Obama and his cronies find it hard to address our real enemies; Islamic terrorists, muslim extremists, and jihadists. Instead he seeks to ridicule and demonize Americans exercising their Constitutional rights, truly Alinsky style. The TEA Party movement is about the rejection of his policies, not his skin color. The TEA Party movement is about rejecting ruling class elitism and career politicians that feel Americans should say thank you and in submission, “Kiss the Ring”.

Americans have no issue with being justly governed, but we will reject being ruled, ask the last fella who tried, King George III.

We are having a TEA Party across the land, time for true Americans to make a stand.

One year later and the movement has grown. America is mad-as-hell and clearly is not taking Taxes without Representation lying down.

It’s no surprise to America (just to the police and the MSM)but we could have told them….The Tea Party crowd would be huge. It was much larger than anticipated by the police, for sure..

At first, around 7 PM, the officers attempted to clear the Tea Party activists from the East side of 8th avenue…

They kept insisting the Tea Party had to stay on the West side of 8th.

That didn’t last long, as the crowd was growing fast. They moved some and new people arrived to fill the spots.

The police GAVE UP! There were just too, too many patriots to force on to one side of 8th avenue!

The media was all there, though more likely just to do their usual interviews of those filing their taxes at the last-minute. (That crowd was stretched up-town and down, directly in front of the post office.)

Wonder how much coverage of the rally will be on the news since CNN, ABC, CBS were all on the scene. There were great speeches and great signs…nothing outrageous…just the facts….so….yeah…probably not….

So sweet, was how futile their attempts at disrupting the rally became. They were out numbered. They couldn’t gain access to the Tea Party Rally. Too crowded!

So finally they took their bright Red Acorn flag …

and crossed back to the East side of 8th (attempting to be noticed by the media and those who passed by)

The most offensive sign I came across had one reporter spending way too much time talking to a pretty face for his camera…

most surely…NOT her poster. (wonder how far she’d get if that was Big Mo)

One guy (in the red hat) yelled, “Sarah Palin is a quitter” over and over

while this double-sided sign was held high:

The Ron Paulites (and others) hung-out at the Post office. The police let them stay on that block…yet they were having a cow because the Tea Partiers were on the East side of 8th…

This is bits of video I caught of the Tea Party crashers (also known as ACORN and Bail Out The People) not being allowed in to the tea party enclosure at 30th and 8th Avenue. The police sent the Crashers back to the the East side of 8th Avenue where our “pretty young thing” held-court with the obscene picture of tea-bagging.  Then headed over to the front of the Main Post Office where long lines of people filing at the last minute, were being entertained by a commuter and the ” Violin Femmes”….only in NY ….

FYI- switched back and forth between my two cameras…trying to get some footage in spit of the night lighting…sometimes I didn’t have the best light…

AND the video of  “US” : Joined up with the Patriots on the East side of 8th avenue (between 31st and 30th st) The police were attempting to clear our side over to the West side (for awhile) and as will be evident later in the video…it was pointless..more and more of the Tea Party Patriots kept showing up!

Rally to Protect the Christians of Nigeria Against Islamic Jihad (video and pics)

On April 7, 2010, Americans of all faiths came together at the Nigerian Consulate in New York City to demand and end to the killing ; an end to the massacre of Christians by Muslims in Nigeria. “Why does the government of Nigeria sanction these murders?”

Why do those hidden inside the Mission not protect the Christians of Nigeria against Islamic Jihad!! Why do they ignore the killing?

Those inside the Consulate certainly knew we were there:

The messages on the banners were great. Surely they were seen by those hiding inside the Nigerian Consulate. But…what of the media? The NY Times…Network News… their absence was predictable and shameful!

For a solid hour many speakers from many faiths and countries that have also suffered under the same murderous Islamic jihad warned that America needs to wake up. The Jihadis who murder the Nigerian Christians are not isolated in that one tragic country…

- Worldwide Affirmation of the Genocide of Hellenes (Greeks) perpetrated by Turkey and the Young Turk Party in Thrace, Anatolia, and Asia Minor.

- Recognition of the ongoing cultural genocide of Thracian Hellenes (Greeks).

Speakers included the President of the Hellenic Organization of University Graduates of America HOUGA, the Pan-Pontian Federation USA and CANADA President and officials, and members and officials of the Federation of Hellenic Societies of Greater New York.

This year’s memorial  included unique scholars and a solemn recital of the orphic hymns for our dead.

Following the conclusion of the event Mr. Nikolaos Taneris, President of the Pan Thracian Union of America “Orpheus” and Mr. Ioannis Fidanakis, former President and board member of the Pan Thracian Union of America “Orpheus” took the ceremonial funereal wreath for the innocent victims of the Greek Genocide to the Greek Consulate in New York on 69 E. 79 Street in Manhattan. To our dismay, when the Greek diplomats saw our wreath and the pamphlet “GREEK GENOCIDE IN THRACE: A CASE STUDY” they quickly bowed their heads and scurried away and hid from sight. Not even a thank you, or an acknowledgment was made for the innocent victims of the Greek Genocide by the diplomats or representatives of Greece in New York. Flowers for the innocent victims of the Greek Genocide of 1914-1923, are for the Greek diplomats of New York, Unwanted Flowers.
