Don Barnett was introduced by Mark Krikorian, Executive Director of the Center For Immigration Studies.

Don Barnett is currently a fellow at the Center for Immigration Studies and expert on refugee resettlement in the United States.

Barnett is a former employee of the United States Information Agency within the U.S. State Department, and spent an extensive part of his career working in the former Soviet Union and Eastern Bloc, which produced most of the refugees brought to the United States during the Cold War Era.

In approximately 80 minutes, Barnett gave us a sobering presentation of the problem faced by small towns and communities throughout America as we lose control of the costly out-of-control refugee resettlement system. He cautioned that one must by necessity avoid too much truth (too many details) particularly when dealing with the political elites aka Congress. They just can’t handle all those nasty facts, keeping in mind this body politic passed Obama-Care without bothering to even read it. So this badly needed reform goes unheeded.

He continues with how the settlement program actually fails the refugees though neglect, once they are in the U.S. and resettled. Their sponsors lose track of them as there is no legal requirement to do any follow-up once they are here. So if they connected to terrorism in anyway, who would know? If they choose to avoid assimilation in to American culture, why are they here?

And who is a refugee? Who makes the decision as to what country is on the list of resettlement? 95% are referred by the U.N. (UNHCR) The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees is setting U.S. immigration policy for criminals? Terrorists? Who knows, really…

Sadly, the system is knee-deep in fraud as limited resources are diverted seemly without review. It is huge. almost impossible to absorb

Religious organizations and NGOs ( non-governmental organizations) make money off the very profitable business of resettlement ; exploitation for profit a program on a perpetual growth trajectory..

These voluntary agencies, or VOLAGs for short, get generous stipends from the federal government, i.e. American taxpayers, for finding purported refugees, as well as compensation for the imputed costs of help rendered to these people, despite the fact that once they arrive in the United States these refugees are abandoned by their sponsors and shunted off to local social service agencies. In fact, “hooking up” these newcomers with already overburdened taxpayer-funded welfare programs is the primary goal of many of these agencies. While only comprising one percent of their clientele, they constitute over fifty percent of their funding, which explains why these groups fought so vigorously against any curtailment in the flow of refugees into the United States following the September 11th massacres, however brief. Catholic Charities constitutes the top leech of these parasitical organizations, generating over half of its annual revenue by bilking American taxpayers, millions upon millions of it earmarked specifically to unravel the social fabric of local communities through the resettlement of unassimilable refugees from the third world.

Yet the good people of the Volunteer State have fought back, and just this past June-with the help of the Tennessee Eagle Forum and Act for America-compelled their state legislature to enact the Tennessee Refugee Absorptive Capacity Act. Although watered down after ferocious lobbying from the usual suspects-led by Catholic Charities-it represents a distinctive achievement in the fight to reject refugee resettlement, which impacts every state and locality in the United States. This is demonstrative proof that citizen activism, if focused, can achieve results, and serves as an incentive for anyone who might believe that this is an insoluble problem. The challenge ahead might be difficult, but it is not impossible.

January 21, 2011 at approximately 12:30 PM. Times Square Decided to check out the Egyptian Revolution Rally taking place just after the first light snow of the winter season. Their stage was late, so sans amplification the rally leaders were chanting and attempting to kept the crowd busy until their errant truck/stage arrived. It was a small crowd comprised of familiar Leftists, “Palestinians” and Islamist protestors. Usually, I’m called a Zionist, a Racist, a Nazi and a hate-monger but today, I was lectured, told outright HOW I was to write about the rally or else LEAVE because ( you see) ” I’m an Islamophobe who WORKS for Pamela Geller.” Policing me was Marxist/Fakestinian agitator, Andy Pollack. Andrew Pollack of Al-Awda NY who loves to press his hulking mass into my space while proudly declaring that I had to stop filming. He kept his little soldiers busy infringing on my freedom of speech and assembly by attempting to block my camera with flags and bodies. Nice, huh? The games Lefties play…. Two young women in the rally were ‘alerted’ by Pollack to not speak with me because I “WORK for Pam Geller”. One of those girls was Micha (Michelle)Balon of the STAGED #OWS marriage (arranged to please the easily duped MSM.) But, Micha doesn’t seem to be ‘married’ anymore. Her face book page says she interested in MEN and makes no mention of a ‘husband’ My other critic was Nada Elmansy (in light blue hijab) She said I can’t be trusted to write appropriately about Muslims!” However, I appreciate that she took a moment on camera to actually express why she was there. Some more pictures of the signs…. Socialist yearning for bread, dignity and ….”Social Justice”! Socialists…Revolution…. Freedom…Justice For All! Anti-Israel ( lots of kuffeyas ) and Anti-America…. It wasn’t just a rally about those martyred in Tahrir Square… The VIDEO: Facts are the Muslim Brotherhood and the Sharia compliant government is antithetical to a a free society, to a democracy. “The Islamist parties have won 72 percent of the seats in the lower house…the revolutionaries of Tahrir Square were disgraced at the polls and exposed as an insignificant social and political force…The Muslim Brotherhood (and its fellow jihadists in the Salafist al-Nour party) will control Egypt’s internal affairs.” Yet there were no signs criticizing the Muslim Brotherhood. If there were Christians at this rally ( as they claimed) WHERE were the signs supporting the Copts. This election is “.. bad news for women and for non-Muslims. Egypt’s Coptic Christians have been under continuous attack by Muslim Brotherhood and Salafist supporters since Mubarak was deposed…The military massacred them when they dared to protest their persecution.” I heard nothing protesting the attacks and murders of the Copts, martyred in Egypt because they are CHRISTIANS. Will the Muslim Brotherhood and the Sharia compliant government be any better? (crickets chirping) Is Egypt a country on the verge of a real Democracy? Were those killed in Tahrir Square fighting to live under Sharia? ” …the Islamic fundamentalists now in charge of Egypt ( who) don’t need a constitution to implement their tyranny. All they require is what they already have – a public awareness of their political power and their partnership with the military.” Leaving no doubt that this was also a protest in opposition of Israel. “...the new regime ( in Egypt) which allows Sinai to be used as a launching ground for attacks against Israel and as a highway for weapons and terror personnel to flow freely into Gaza; clear signs that the peace with Israel is already dead – treaty or no treaty. “..the depth and breadth of America’s losses, consider that on January 25, 2011, most Arab states were US allies to a greater or lesser degree. Mubarak was a strategic ally…In Egypt, it was clear that the Muslim Brotherhood would emerge as the strongest political force in the country.” Keeping the Revolution alive in Syria, in Libya, in Tunisia, in Yemen (in Egypt)… and in ‘Fakestine’… FREE FREE etc etc etc etc …. Reminding us that America is: “…looked upon with increasing contempt and disgust throughout the Arab world.” After all, Ramsey Clark and his International Action Center was promoting, organizing , supporting this rally. His organization is not just critical of America it is ANTI- America. No Old Glory flying along side the flag of Egypt. Just signs, signs and more signs blaming America and praising Socialism. Their “Hope and Change” for a democracy is just an excuse to build another Saudi Arabia; another Iran compliments of the Muslim Brotherhood. ********

The New York Times has sharply criticized the New York Police Department for using the critically-acclaimed documentary The Third Jihad: Radical Islam’s Vision for America in counterterrorism training.

The New York Times has published two news articles (http://tinyurl.com/nyt-ttj1,http://tinyurl.com/nyt-ttj2 ), as well as an editorial entitled “Hateful Film” (http://tinyurl.com/nyt-ttj3) in the past 48 hours.

In response, film producer Raphael Shore has issued the following statement:

“We regret that the film has been taken out of the counterterrorism training program of the NYPD. The New York Times stories are proof positive that the Clarion Fund’s high-quality and impactful documentaries touch very sensitive nerves.

Those that have blasted the film are attempting to stifle an important debate about the internal state of the Muslim community in America, and whether politicized Islam and indoctrination pose tangible security threats.

We hope that individuals will acknowledge the inaccuracies presented by the New York Times, and the effects that organizations like CAIR have on the fine line between political correctness and honest debate.

We invite the general public to watch and judge the documentary for themselves. The Third Jihad is now being made available for free viewing online at http://www.thethirdjihad.com.”

According to the New York Times, nearly 1500 officers, “from lieutenants to detectives to patrol officers” reportedly were shown the film during a period of between three months and a year.

The story of the film’s usage by NYPD was first reported by the Village Voice a year earlier, and police stopped using the film when pressure was asserted by local Islamic organizations. Pressure continued until the New York Times propelled the year-old story to front-page news yesterday.

CAIR is taking credit for the “investigation” which led to the New York Times’ coverage, with a press release (http://tinyurl.com/nypd-cair) demanding that the NYPD install Muslim-sensitive materials in their training curriculum to offset what they consider to be an ‘Islamaphobic’ film.

Innuendo

What CAIR and the New York Times failed to clearly address, is that The Third Jihad is narrated by a devout Muslim, who has a significant record of serving the United States of America, as a medical officer in the US Navy and as an attending physician to the US Congress.

The beginning of the film states in bold letters that, “This is not a film about Islam. It is about the threat of radical Islam. Only a small percentage of the world’s 1.3 billion Muslims are radical.”

The film’s message urges the Muslim community to look within itself to root out the indoctrination that affects a minority of Muslims.

The documentary is founded on credible evidence presented by the FBI of a “Manifesto” published by radicals calling for the implementation of extremist ideology-both violent and politicized-within the United States.

It is no surprise that CAIR does not like the content of the film. CAIR is singled out in the film for its direct ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, open support for Hamas, and links to terror financing.

CAIR was listed as an unindicted co-conspirator in the 2007 Holy Land Foundation trial, the largest ever terror-financing trial in US History.

As a result of these designations, the FBI has formally ceased all ties with CAIR-as should the NYPD and New York Times.

The NYPD is well aware of the threats that emanate from Islamic radicals.

In the preface to a landmark 2007 NYPD Intelligence Division Report entitled “Radicalization in the West: The Homegrown Threat,” Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly writes, “New York City continues to be the one of the top targets of terrorists worldwide. Consequently, the NYPD places a priority on understanding what drives and defines the radicalization process.”

The Third Jihad takes an in-depth look at the process of radicalization and indoctrination taking place on American soil.

It is clear that senior members of the NYPD saw value in the film, as did employees of the Federal Homeland Security department, who first gave the DVD of the film to the NYPD.

Inaccuracies

The Third Jihad features exclusive interviews with some of the nation’s leading counterterrorism experts including former Director of Homeland Security Tom Ridge, former Director of Central Intelligence R. James Woolsey, former NYC Mayor Rudolph Giuliani, and NYPD Commissioner Raymond Kelly.

According to the New York Times, Paul J. Browne, the Police Department’s chief spokesman said, “that filmmakers had lifted the [Kelly] clip from an old interview.”

This is the first of several inaccuracies to appear in the New York Times’ account.

The makers of The Third Jihad conducted a nearly 90-minute exclusive interview with Commissioner Kelly specifically for the film on March 19, 2007. Previously unreleased bonus clips of Kelly’s interview are currently available at http://www.thethirdjihad.com.

Responding to a letter by film producer Raphael Shore, Browne then corrected the record in the New York Times follow-up article. “I recommended in February 2007 that Commissioner Kelly be interviewed,” he said.

Browne recalled that the film’s interviewer, “asked to speak to the commissioner for a cable film on ‘foiled terrorist plots and the current threat matrix.’”

Several other inaccuracies appear in the article. For example, the New York Times notes that the film includes a doctored photo of the White House with an Islamic flag atop. But the photo is one of many pieces of documented footage from Islamist sources. Yet the New York Times implies that the filmmakers were the ones to manipulate the photo.

The New York Times also inaccurately quotes the film by stating: “‘This is the true agenda of Islam in America,’ a narrator intones.” But the actual quote from the film is: “This document shows the true agenda of much of Muslim leadership here in America.”

The article intentionally omits that this narrator is Dr. Zuhdi Jasser, a devout Muslim.

The rest of the New York Times’ coverage focuses on character assassination. While CAIR and others label the film Islamophobic, it is ironic that the film’s detractors continuously point out that the film’s producer has ties to Jewish organizations. The article inaccurately claims that Raphael Shore simultaneously works for Aish HaTorah.

New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg questioned the judgment of that those who permitted the usage of the film. However, Bloomberg’s predecessor Mayor Rudolph Giuliani, who is also interviewed in the film, has praised the documentary calling The Third Jihad, “a wake up call for America.”

Forte says Qaradawi’s Sharia not Classical Sharia. His Sharia not the REAL Sharia. Discrimination against women was NOT permitted in Classical Sharia. The tyranny of Qaradawi (his ideology).

Qaradawi warns Muslims to not be immigrants, be COLONIZERS. Examples: European NO-GO Zones and the Sharia quasi-legal systems in England, France, Rome; replicated though-out Old Europe. (In England, five formal Sharia Courts and 80 informal) In Belgium, a parallel Legal Court; a SHARIA Court (in Brussels).

In early Islam, they were Rationalists til 55 years later, then Legalists. Sharia formed by Jurists, recognized by Imperialists (Caliphs).

Saladin changed substance of Sharia (there was no torture) Could not torture innocents (now you can) He was an Arabized Kurdish Muslim, who became the first Sultan of Egypt and Syria .

A thousand years of Islamist history enforced only by Caliph. He could enforce or throw anything aside in the entire Islamic Empire. Caliph must support Sharia (STATE LAW) of the Islamic State (Empire).

8th-9th c Sharia: Legalists vs Rationalists (like Greeks)…Sharia was formed by Jurists… an Equity Court. Islam identified with The Law.

Iran and Saudi Arabia are “Perfectly Islamic”. What changed. Torture was not originally part of Islam. They changed Sharia from a system of beliefs for righteous living before god into an ideology. A religion into a POLITICAL ideology.

Warned to practice perfect Islam or else you are an apostate. This form of Islam, this Sharia, is an abomination

Forte says, Radical Islam “changing Believer into Ideologue-Apparatchik of a totalitarian regime.” He concludes, “THAT is what we should oppose as a threat (THAT type of Islam)

Forte: Violence in Bible much worse. in comparison, the Koran is WHIMPY. Islam should have been the FIRST to free slavery, instead it was the LAST. Should have been the first to observe Laws of War.

Forte re violence in O.T. Difference is HOW Jews interpret. What came after. How Muslims handle it (the text) How each dealt with what was written. Re Koran. Contextualize reference to treatment of unbelievers. It’s all in the interpretation. It was the Koresh Tribe Mohammed was referring to.

Question - People are afraid to speak up because they fear punishment. “See something say something” could place them in jeopardy with mosque (sharia). “Don’t they feel that make the mosques a security risk?”

Forte: We should investigate where money comes from, the newspapers should investigate. The Saudi influence.

Mach: Government should not tell us where or how to worship. Not worried about prisons. There all all types of prison checks to control influence.

Q- How can we think this is a Great Religion based on history?

Forte – Look at what Moderate Muslims are saying about Islam. There is a seed in all religions of recognizing each other as equals.

Mach : Government should not be in business of telling anyone where they can build a house of worship. You own the property, you can build.

Moderator: How to promote the Classical version of Sharia and not the Radical

Forte: STOP multi-cultural baloney in schools that support Radical Version of Islam (which should be minimized) 1910-1930 example: Italian immigrant educators assimilation was encouraged.

Multi-culturalism is GOVERNMENT imposed. The worst thing we can do as far as assimilation.

Mach (ACLU) questions Forte’s criticism of multi-culturalism. Sees great benefits in Public Schools teaching about other cultures.

Nov 6, 2011 was National Remembrance Day for Americans Killed by Illegal Aliens (video)

On November 6, 2011, at 26 Federal Plaza in NYC, American activists met to acknowledge a National Day of Remembrance in honor of those murdered by illegal aliens.

Gerard Perry of American Rattlesnake and fellow members of NY-Ice met to honor the American victims of illegal alien crime.

Joanna Marzullo, President of NY-Ice (New Yorkers for Immigration Control and Enforcement) said :

People in our Movement have worked hard to have a day designated where we remember those who have been victims of illegal aliens. November 6th is that day.

I know what our predictable opposition will say about this Day. They will say “most illegals aren’t violent criminals. Can’t ‘the rest’ stay?” To which my answer is: No. We, the People of the U.S., are ALL victims of illegal aliens. More than 50, 000 Americans have been killed by illegal aliens since 9/11.

N17 Unions surround Occupiers at Foley Sq Block Party (Part 2 vids/pics)

It’s been insanely busy these past few months. Only just realized I never posted Part 2 of the infamous N17 Re-Occupy Protest of #OWS. So before 2012 comes roaring in….

RE CAP: It began at 7 AM. Billed as #OWS ‘International Day of Action’ to crush NY Stock Exchange.

Even though the squatters had been evicted from Zuccotti Park, the scruffier, younger contingent of the headed to Wall Street itching for a fight. They did everything they could to make life miserable for the 99% who live and work in the Wall Street area, but the police did a stellar job and the bell was rung in the Stock Exchange! Defeated, the insurgents went back to Zuccotti: Strike One.

LUNCH was MIC CHECK as they explained their strategic Subway locations. The plan was to Shut Down” the Subways ( also, to get the PEOPLE to join them at Foley Sq.) Strike Two!

At 5 PM I observed union members, lots of union members, arriving at City Hall where they headed over to Foley Sq. This was billed a one Giant BLOCK Party.

I seriously question the claim that they pulled in 30,000 people to Foley Sq. Walking with-in the park, behind the lines of people crammed against the railing, reveals wide open spaces. The park was not jammed. sections were quite empty

The “stage” at the South end of the Square is where many attendees were jammed, listening to the faux gospel and rap music.

The SEIU table was there with their usual astro-turf signs

The North end of the park was the younger crowd. Students and no, perhaps their professors? Probably.

They even had their own marching band with the drums, drums, drums and the clergy:

The #OWS Mobsters said this was their THREE MONTH ANNIVERSARY of Occupy Wall St. They also celebrated the birthday of (TRAITOR) Bradley Manning (thanks to Urban Infidel for the picture)

And insinuated it was the “One Year” anniversary (actually January 4, 2012) of the self-immolation of Mohamed Bouazizi - the act that sparked the questionable “Arab Spring”.

It was a day so glorified (in their own minds) that they ultimately called it “a Day of Faith and Re-Occupation”. More from the OWS Press Release (www.occupywallst.org )

Vast resources sit unused while people are in need: in need of homes, schools, jobs and public places to gather and empower communities. Duarte Square is one of New York City’s many uninhabited spaces. The non-residential lot is owned by the third largest real estate owner in Manhattan, Trinity Real Estate, the corporate arm of Trinity on Wall Street. This vacant lot has sat empty for the past 3 years, and is not slated for development for at least another year; similar to the hundreds of bank-owned, foreclosed homes in East New York, one of which was re-occupied by a displaced family on December 6th, the OWS National Day to Occupy Foreclosed Homes, with home re-occupations in over 30 U.S. cities.

While the event may include a reoccupation the event itself is a broader celebration and expansion of Occupy Wall Street as we continue to draw attention to the issues facing the 99%, occupy the nation’s imagination with art and culture, as well exercise our first amendment rights. Through on-site performances and a special radio broadcast on WBAI, we will introduce the people’s amp, a guerrilla sound system to give voice to the people’s movement.

Occupy Wall Street is part of an international people powered movement fighting for economic justice in the face of neoliberal economic practices, the crimes of Wall Street, and a government controlled by monied interests. #OWS is the 99% organizing to end the tyranny of the 1%.  

They began the festivities at 10:00 AM with Clergy and Friends gathered together for prayer at OCCUPY FAITH

After prayers, they headed for Duarte Square, where at Noon, the clergy ‘proudly’ lead the insurgency against the police.

BUT apparently the historical Trinity Episcopal lost its nerve After encouraging the occupation of Zuccotti Park:

The police were ready and waiting for them at Duffy Square.

As soon as the ‘Occupiers” hit the square there was dancing, chanting, singing and drum(s)

They also ‘entertained’ the tourists with silly testimonials of “WHY I OCCUPY” (caught a few of those in the videos)

This obnoxious woman (below) stood in front of the officers, who blocked the red steps, and obsequiously repeated over and over, “Why won’t you let us sit on the steps? Why won’t you answer me?” When another woman responded with, “We all know why, cause you’ll never leave!” She smirked and walked away.

As the Occupiers prepared to drift back down town, noticed this floppy, snarky sign:”NYPD, most dangerous Gang in NY”.

Insurgents. Revolutionaries. Anarchists insisting, “We are a ‘Peaceful” Movement” ( yeah…right…)

Eventually the Occupiers went back to 60 Wall Street for a General (Peoples) Assembly. They have lots and lots of plans

We invite congregations and leaders from faiths and Churches throughout the city to design the way in which they would like to come together with the Occupy community, by creating a service that reflects the unique beauty of their own community

In Washington, DC, Benjamin Chavis, another icon of the Sixties’ Civil Rights movement, announced the creation of Occupy The Dream, which is demanding federal grants for university education, an immediate halt to home foreclosures and the creation of a $100 billion fund from Wall Street institutions for new jobs and investment in neighborhoods.

Chavis is no stranger to organizing. A colleague of King’s, he organized a one-million person march on Washington in the 1960s with a coalition of African Americans, progressive white liberal groups, and organized labor. ‘That is what we have to rebuild,’ he announced.

On January 16, Martin Luther King’s birthday, Occupy the Dream plans its first actions at Federal Reserve Bank locations around America and thereafter every 30 days, and Chavis’ has special plans to marshall the gigantic African-American faith community.

The work has already begun with The Occupy Homes National Day of Action last week, where in more than two dozen cities across America, the occupiers helped evicted residents reoccupy their foreclosed homes, disrupted bank actions and blocked eviction of victims of toxic mortgages and unconscionable mortgage ‘insurance.’

Come Spring, their DRUMS of War will drone on and on and on insisting, “We’re doing this for YOU.”

AFSI’S ANTI-DEMOLITION DEMONSTRATION was held in front of the Israel Consulate on a chilly Sunday morning, December 11, 2011.

The protestors gathered to support and speak of their love of Israel.

AFSI explains why:

The protest was triggered by the recent destruction of the synagogue at Givat Aryeh, and the confiscation of the Torah scrolls. We also protested additional planned demolitions about which we have been informed: in Givat HaUlpana in Bet-El, Givat Assaf, Amona, and additional demolitions of homes in Migron. The AFSI Chizuk group saw three demolished homes there on our recent November visit.

The uplifting story of the creation of Givat Aryeh by a group of young, Jewish pioneers, led by YEDAYA SHOHAM, in response to the brutal butchery of five members of the Fogel family in Itamar, descends into a tragic tale of demolition and disgrace. AFSI was privileged to be part of the joyous creation of the synagogue, and the dedication, on Nov. 15, 2011, of a Torah scroll rescued from the Holocaust.

On Dec. 1 we learned of the Israeli government’s betrayal of its purpose and its people when it sent in a Destructo squad, including Arabs, to demolish the modest tent homes and the synagogue on the hilltop.

It is with a sense of disbelief and shock that we continue to hear about the program being conducted by the Bibi/Barack demolition crews in Israel. In the middle of the night, Destructo crews are sent in to small, hilltop communities, the inhabitants are thrown out of their beds, out of their homes, and into the cold night. Total disregard is paid to babies, nursing mothers, children, the elderly, and adults. Synagogues have been destroyed, private possessions thrown broken and littered along the ground, and lives are left in limbo.

Just two weeks ago, we celebrated the dedication of a new Torah scroll that was presented to the residents of Itamar and Givat Aryeh in the Shomron by its sponsor, AFSI member Jack Ross. Now we are totally disheartened to learn that the destruction of this community was orchestrated by a decision of the Netanyahu/Barak government.

Teenagers who should be enjoying the carefree years of youth, are left embittered and bewildered by the scenes of the IDF, the police, and Arabs, destroying their homes. The love and trust placed in one’s parents and government is shattered. Where does one turn for security and protection? The disillusionment and despair is devastating.

Freedman informed us that:

“I had invited many rabbis and mainstream Jewish leaders to attend this demonstration. Many refused; saying that they didn’t believe in criticizing Israel in public. I responded by saying, “If your beloved is about to walk off a cliff, wouldn’t you reach out to restrain him?”

Protesting AGAINST Israel was something none present took lightly but the current policy of destruction and demolitions must stop. We must not remain silent witnesses to this disgrace.

There are two fine reports on the protest; one from Fern Sidman and, also, Raanan Isseroff, from whom I chose some parting thoughts:

In keeping with the theme of Chanukah, speakers pointed out the hard fight that the Maccabees had against the “political Jews” of that time. Jews who put their faith in the Greek nation first. Much like today, where Jews around the world look to the nations of the world for the very survival of Israel. Nations who historically caused the Holocaust. Yet from them, they seek salvation. And like the political Jews of days of old, this faith in the nations was to such an extent, that it was not beyond them to put Jews in danger and even joined the Greek legions in fighting against those heroes, the Maccabee’s.

While this seems romantic looking back, we are each left with the question of whose side are we really on today?

Have we unwittingly aligned ourselves with the “Political Jews”, those Greek Jews of the Chanukah story against the very hero’s we so revere?

Today, the situation is so similar. It will only be with those people who are the “small jar of pure oil”. Those who feel the sacred mission of the Holy Land and its Jewish place in the destiny of the world, that Israel will again please G-d, regain its senses and begin to once again put the safety and necessity of Israel’s Jews first.

We plead with PM Netanyahu and Defense Minister Ehud Barak, as well as the Israeli Supreme Court justices, to end this disastrous program immediately.

AFSI has been reporting on the Israeli Destructo squads continue their dirty work undeterred by logic and common sense. Wouldn’t it seem natural to suspend all demolition orders while Israel’s citizens are under rocket attack from Gaza, and the threat of rocket attack from the north? These matters seem to be unrelated. The demolitions continue regardless of the fact that they ignore the realities on the ground.

Yesha Council Chairman Danny Dayan sent a letter to all of the ministers and MKs, noting that 150 homes, housing 1,000 Israelis who have lived in their homes for over ten years, are scheduled for destruction in the near future: Givat Assaf, Ramat Gilad, Migron, the Ulpana neighborhood of Beit El, and Amona are all on the list.

Emails should be sent protesting against this despicable program.
